HOMEWORK
Your child should expect about 40 minutes a day of homework. This includes the 20 minutes of silent reading. All assignments will be written in the agenda. Your child also has a homework folder. All homework papers should come home in it. When your child finishes an assignment, he/she should place it in this folder to be returned to school. Please check this folder daily. Friday homework will always be to clean the homework folder and get a parent signature in the agenda. Over the weekend all corrected papers/notices should be removed from the leave at home side of the homework folder. Please also initial or sign your child’s agenda in the designated spot for that Friday. Each day I check all agendas for your initials/signature.
Homework assignments that are not completed during the week will be completed in class at the end of the week during our Fun Friday activity.
