Social & Behavioral Goals
In fourth grade your child will be expected to become more independent and responsible. As a parent, you play an incredibly important role in helping your child achieve this goal.
Parents, please allow your child to make mistakes. Mistakes are an important part of growing up, and we all learn more from our failures and mistakes than from our successes. As your child becomes more independent, he or she will make mistakes. Please, let your child make mistakes and hold him or her accountable, as will I as I work to teach him or her how to handle responsibility and independence.
