Library Book Challenges
The Library Book Challenges are reading challenge offered to all students at TIS from Mrs. Hill our School Library Media Specialist. The Challenges were conceived to encourage students to read different genres of literature. Student may choose from either a 10, 20 or 30 Book Challenge. They may use the same books from their class reading log. The Challenge runs from September to May during the school year. Below is an example of a form which will be offered to all students.
When they have completed the Challenge, the form must be signed by a parent or teacher and turned in to Mrs. Hill. Some of the honors for completing the Challenge are: two HAWK cards, two HAWK Library tickets which allows for extra books to be taken out, their names will be put on the morning announcements and students who complete the 20 or 30 book challenge can have an 8 X 10 READ poster made of themselves.
Please contact Mrs. Hill if you have any questions regarding the Challenge.
