My Philosophy of Education
My philosophy of education is that I teach students, not lessons. My instructional practices are based on my understanding that learners construct new knowledge by building on their previous understanding and experience.
In my classroom, I view my role as being a guide who supports student learning rather than being the sole provider of knowledge. I believe that education has to become the responsibility of the person being educated. My goal is to help students become self-sufficient, life-long learners.
