Homework
Third
graders typically have thirty minutes of homework per night Monday through Thursday. Students
write their homework assignments in their agendas every morning before
completing morning work. Homework will be 20 minutes of reading, and a
math, spelling or grammar worksheet. Students should complete their reading log each night and record the book title, number of pages and number of minutes read. Homework is
transported to and from school in the green "Take Home Folders." Parents should
initial the reading log and agenda when homework is completed. Agendas and homework are
to be returned the following morning. Reading Logs will be collected on Friday mornings.
Thank you for your support at home. Homework is an important reinforcement of what your child is learning at school.
